The Towing & Recovery Association of South Carolina (TRASC) is the only state-wide organization that represents the towing industry in the great state of South Carolina.
TRASC was founded in 1988, and has been advocating, education and promoting the towing industry ever since! TRASC was formed to promote the welfare of all those in the towing and recovery business (and related companies) so that we may all be more profitable and efficient. TRASC hired a lobbyist in 2018, which was pivotable in elevating our legislative presence at the South Carolina State House. Capital Consultants, our lobbying firm, goes to work for us while we are all busy running our small businesses. The TRASC lobbyist serves as a watchdog to ensure harmful bills do not negatively impact our industry. The TRASC lobbyist also brainstorms with TRASC to initiate bills that would benefit our industry as well as assists with non-legislative interventions aiming to improve our relationship with several state and government agencies.
