Membership & Benefits

REPRESENTATION AND LEGISLATION
TRASC provides legislative representation two fold: a hired specialized lobbyist, and collaboration amongst members like you! The lobbyist works hard to ensure law changes are only beneficial to the towing industry in the great state of South Carolina, all while towing businesses are hard at work running their small businesses.  The legislative climate is changing, and TRASC is in the driver’s seat!

INFORMATION
As a TRASC member, you will receive information to help your business.  Whether you are a new towing related business, or been around for decades, being a member of TRASC is essential to keeping your business up to date on all things related to state-wide matters.  Even though each towing business technically operates locally, statewide laws impact tows requested by a police rotation, how towing services notify last registered owners, how towing service businesses get rid of abandoned vehicles in impound lots, magistrate court, and so much more! A TRASC membership ensures you will be the first to know about changes, and is a resource for your towing business.

TRAINING AND EDUCATION
We work with various training programs and arrange training opportunities for you and your employees.  Luckily, the towing industry in South Carolina is not mandated to have certain certifications, however, this means that we have to create trainings in our state in most cases.
